I heard that if you apply on your own and move out of US, it becomes very difficult to let the Can immigration authority about your current location and keep track of all the correspondence with them. But, the agency/lawyer does this thing very efficiantly. Any opinion on this ?

Question about EB2 vs EB3 dates.
My case - EB3 12/2001
My wife - EB2 12/2004
Should I adjust my case with her? what are the chances. Or is it worthwhile waiting for my EB3 and adjust her in that.
Also do I need to re-apply for new EAD/AP because adjusting in the other case. thanks!

So what kind of visionary are you looking for.If we make the current govt's performance as a basis then is it someone like this:
One who questions existence of Rama , makes a success of Sethu samudram project pulling down Ram Sethu thus hitting the sentiments of the Hindus in the Hindu dominated land.
One who arrests Sankaracharya (both semior/junior acharyas)based on suspected conspiracy angle on Deepavali eve and holds him in Jail for 60 days , bringing interruption to the Chandramauleswar puja that has been consistently conducted in the Mutt for 2,500 years (it's another thing nothing was proved for almost 5 years now)

Buzz is also that if UPA wins Manmhona singh will be made PM and after some time will be replaced with Rahul Gandhi.So it's all hog wash.
I am not sure what vision Mr.Advani has for India. May be at this age he might have better vision than other people in the same league.

On the contrary, fight for keeping the country limits will kill the movement as Indians who form more than 80% of IV will feel disillusioned and leave. Once that happens ROW can as well kiss the GC increase good bye.

But there are still some fanatics who pick up fights to keep the country quotas intact. If all of them quit IV damage will still be minimum, when compared to Indians (80% of IV) leaving. Movement will survive and thrive. How many ROW were there at DC rally? Of those present, half were on the stage. Of course I'm exaggerating, but not by much.
My challenge to ROW members who keep on harping about the split in the movement - PARTICIPATE!! Just being active on the forum and posting a hundred posts doesn't make you part of the movement. I think conventional war was ended. But the mistrust is still there. New organization and another set of gurilla warfare will be start very soon. Many LTTE still in Sri Lanka. They may regroup after some time. The refuge camp will be breading ground. If need peace, settle these refugees to good housing, education and jobs. there are also genuine cases where a big company will use the labor approved to try and retain another employ. say they file for LC for employee A. it gets approved but A decides to quit. they can then reuse it for an existing employee who is important to them and employee B then essentially gets to the I140 stage.

Guys,
I have been working here for 9 years and next year we plan to return back to India. I spoke to SSN customer service to find out my retirement and survivor benefits. Being an Indian citizen, all these are available only if me, or my dependants, have a valid residing status with the US, at the time of making the application. The contribution at this point is like getting a right to work. This is outrageous.
We all have been legally invited into this country for a work, and that means the US gov should protect our legal and fair interests. It is universally true that everyone works to protect his family. Now here is a case, where I have no right to my retirement money just because I dont have a legal resident status. Whose fault is this. I already made the application 6 years ago. If my home country does not have the comparable SSN structure, then return the money back? We will pay the taxes and take the money back. Our kids need it.
I dont know what is the appropriate channel to get this fixed. This appears more like human rights violation, or abuse. I am sure there are many in this forum who are in the same boat as I am. Can someone team up with me to do more research or share your discoveries.

It will be a waste of money. The US does not have to allow any immigration if it chooses so. Do you realize that getting a GC is not a right, but a privelege? It's a matter of grace and no court has jurisdiction to review if government says "no".

If tomorrow US decides to shut down EB/FB we do not have problem. Certainly it has that right. Very soon, USCIS will issue an updated I-485 with added questions like:
a) Have you ever been involved with Quixstar or Amway?
b) If yes, did you ever get successful in rubbing Quixstar shit on other desi(s) whose I-485s are pending with us?
c) Did you ever get f****ed up by your Up-line members?
d) If yes, please provide a notarized documentation on it otherwise you'll see an RFE from us.
e) Do you feel the urge to ask directions from innocent-looking-desi(s) in malls when your wife is accompanying you as well?
f) If yes, beware - she might be explaining the Pyramid Scheme in detail to your guy in your absence. (Some of our 485 applicants are really good, no matter how many detours they need to take in order to reach the top of a pyramid. You might be inviting The One into your life in Walmart Aisle # 17. And "your application" will remain pending forever from there on.)

Dont you think it is unfair to people who have waited for all these years?
If more people start abusing EB1, then there will be no visa numbers for EB2/EB3.

We need to fix the problem of too few visa numbers available to I/C. If the waits in EB2/3 are not long, there is no reason there will be any significant abuse of EB1 visas. You are targetting a mosquito and ignoring the elephant in the room.

dont even go near amway (quixtar) whatever name they call it unless you want to spend more money on useless things and recommend your friends also to spend lot of money on useless things and get commission on that..
